It will look great! And don't forget to cover EVERYTHING. Tape, plastic, paper, what ever you have. Just make sure everything that you don't want plaster on. It is so easy to get it wrong yet plasterers make it look easy. I'd always tell people to have a go because if you can get it right then you'll get an enormous sense of pride.
